DETTOL SKIN JELLY DOOR2DOOR ACTIVATION IN IBADAN

The Brief

Agency was requested to introduce Dettol Skin Jelly to 86, 400 Households and convert up to 50,400 to productive calls in actual sales and repeat sales in 72 days within Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Strategy

A project recce was conducted to get an overview of the demography, based on which a route plan was created for the project.

Agency set up a project co-ordination centre to handle recruitment and training, and liaised with local partners in the day-to-day management of the project.

The Project Manager was in-charge of overall supervision, reporting, back-checks, regular assessment and updates.

Result

51, 914 Households recruited and 37,025 units of Dettol Skin Jelly sold by 20 Promoters in 72 days of activation, which returned 22,994 real Household data from 83 locations in Ibadan. The campaign created massive market penetration for Dettol Skin Jelly in Ibadan as the product was adopted by 83% of Households in the locations covered, leading to switch from competition during the period.
